Farouk Lawan To Remain In Prison Custody

The man in the center of the the controversial fuel subsidy bribe Hon. Farouk Lawan has been ordered to remain in kuje prison custody until February 8, when the court will rule on his bail application.
The application was submitted by his team of  lawyers led by Mr. Rickey Tarfa and Chief Mike Ozhekome, both senior advocates of Nigeria.

The Controversial FCT Minister Sen. Mohammed Bala is yet again in the media for a bogus budget of over 253 Billion Naira of which:

- 4 Billion Naira is for the construction of a First Lady’s “mission building;”
- 150 Million Naira is for the renovation of the vice president's Guest House in Asokoro;
- 5 Billion Naira is for the rehabilitation of commercial sex workers and the destitute; and
- 7 Billion Naira is for the construction of two city gates in the FCT.

An appeal court sitting in Lagos, Nigeria has upheld the death sentence slammed on the Notorious Preacher Chukwuemeka Ezeugo popularly know as  Rev. King.

The appeal court said, the earlier lower court acted with the view of justice and equity.
